Monster Children recently paid a visit to my flatmates and I in our beautiful home, high in the rolling hills of Corndale, NSW. Carly, Shayne and I gave them the grand tour, ate some grub, mowed the lawn, caught some waves and sunk some tinnies.
Hemp has had a long road to success, with a long way to go still. From being one of the first plants to be spun into a usable fibre 10,000 years ago, to being one of the most misconstrued plants in the world today.
The fashion industry itself is one of the planet’s bigger offenders of using plastics and pesticides with unsustainable processes and materials. I teamed up with Afends as a Hemp Ambassador to help change the future of fashion.
Zac and I ventured into the Byron Hinterland. The vibes were high, the beer's were cold and the clothes? Sustainable.
